“The show Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye has an amazing storyline” – Apurva Agnihotri

Good looking and popular actor Apurva Agnihotri who rose to fame with Sony TV’s Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, is returning to the small screen after a long time.

Apurva who was last seen in a reality show Bigg Boss Saath 7 will be seen in Life OK’s upcoming show Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye. While the actor was away from doing a full-fledged lead role after Jassi Jaisi… he is back with a bang to showcase his flawless skills to the viewers.

When asked Apurva about his return to the small screen, he says, “It feels good to come back and showcase your skills to your audience.”

Apurva is coming after a sabbatical on screen, when quizzed the actor regarding the same he says, “I was not completely away from TV as I did Bigg Boss then I did a cameo in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara… however, in TV there is too much of stress so a gap is needed to make you relax from the work.”

“The only reason why I am doing this show Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye is it has an amazing story unlike other daily soaps,” he says while talking about the appealing concept of the show.

Apurva got acclaimed for his role of Armaan Suri in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. Though the show has ended but Armaan Sir’s image is very much remembered by the fans. When asked him about the same he says, “I would like to say a ‘Big Thank You’ to my fans. I am pleased with their response.”

So was a show Jassi Jaisi… a turning point for Apurva? He answers, “Yes of course. It was liked by a lot of people and I did many shows after this but then Jassi… is special.”

The actor started acting in films and won praises from the audience in films like Pardes, Lakeer, Kasoor and many more. Since Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh also features Sonali Bendre, we asked Apurva about his equation with the versatile film star and he says, “It is fun. She is very sweet and we had lot of fun.

“We have shot the promo and it’s going well,” concludes Apurva.
