Bhim is sitting in the room, Rama comes to sit beside him while he is emotional, she tries to wipe the off but he stops her so even Rama starts crying. Bhim is holding her hand tightly when she requests him to not cry, he is still tensed.
Shishupal and Shamla are also crying when he says they thought a lot but what happened as if the newspaper had worked off then they would have become well off but everything ended in the middle, Shamla says she can understand his pain but it is better to share the pain rather then talk of it, Shishupal replies they are not worth anything and he is a useless person, Meghnath along with his men stop him, he asks how is Shishupal feeling after losing, Shamla replies she never interfered but is going to ask him to not say anything to him, Meghnath replies today is the day to speak as after giving that Bhim Rao a befitting defeat he is feeling like getting something in return and today is feeling as if he has come out of the swamp while Shishupal is still stuck, Shamla replies he should let them stay there, Meghnath replies they both are from upper class but still want to stay there, Shishupal angrily asks Shamla to come home when Meghnath says Shishupal should not show his face, Shishupal gets furious so angrily tears the flower necklace which Meghnath is wearing, Shishupal replies he will show it when Meghnath comes in front of him so praises him before leaving furiously with Shamla.
Bhim replies he has not lose hope but is in a lot of pain, Rama says she wishes how she could have done something but is not able to do anything. Jija Bai comes asking why are they so quiet explaining that they have just suffered a loss in the business when they both are mourning here while their father and Bua are mourning outside, Rama says the dreams of Bhim, herself along with Baba, Bua, Deepak, Shoba, Shishupal, Shamla have been shattered who had hopes from the newspaper and the dream due to which they went out each and every day with the desire to change so everything has died, and they will just mourn now for it while what else will they do other then to cry. Jija Bai says it is good that something died before leaving, Rama once again starts crying so Bhim consoles her. Ramji is sitting with Meera outside, while Puran, Deepak and Shoba are also tensed. Shishupal and Shamla are crying sitting in their hut, Shoba is not able to control her tears. Bhim keeps sitting while holding the hand of Rama.
In the night Karuna calls Jija Bai asking her to come as they would make dinner, Jija Bai says she ca hear the cries of everyone while sitting outside and is feeling peace by it, while they could only hear their own cries for so many years, Bala comes informing that the condition of Baba is very weak as he is just crying, Jija Bai says he should let them all cry while Bala replies it is not good, Shoba says they all have no shame, she says Jija Bai herself said it is like the death of someone but do they laugh at such at time so should stay quiet, Phuliya replies it is strange as when they do it then everything is fine but it gets strange when they do it, Jija Bai agrees with Shoba this time, replying they are still going to have a dinner, Jija Bai asks Jokhu and Janardhan to come and have some dinner, Phuliya replies they would have a lot of fun when Jokhu says it would be fun if they make nice food.
Bhim is writing in his diary that what happened today was not good and he cannot say that the tears of Rama are making him weak when he himself was crying as he could not control himself, neither himself nor the other people but today realized one thing that a lot of people lose due to his loss so he does not have to lose ever in the future as he can see Rama fighting with struggles but not the Rama who gets weak due to him, and his father who gets weak due to him. Bhim says he has to do something with the same strength and thinks about making food for everyone which he will give to everyone, Bhim leaves to go in the kitchen where he starts preparing to cook. Bhim sits on the floor when Jija Bai comes asking what is he doing so he replies he is making food for everyone, Jija Bai replies but today there is a feat and she has come to invite them all, Bhim asks the reason for it, Jija Bai says that Rama has killed a lot of things like the dream, desires and everything so this is what she has come to invite him for, she asks if he will come when they are enemies but he is the same with his enemies and friends, she will feel nice if he comes. Bhim replies he would have surely come but he is alone as he has Rama, his father, Meera Bua, Shoba and Deepak who all are hungry and would not want to come to her feast, Jija Bai replies they are going to make a very big celebration, Bhim asks why is she ruining her time as she should leave, Jija Bai walks away saying he can make the food, Bhim starts cutting the vegetables.
Jija Bai and Phuliya are cooking while Jokhu, Janardhan along with Manohar are playing the drums, Jija Bai says it would be the first time that they are celebrating it, Jokhu says it was possible due to her, Karuna brings Bala to celebrate with them but he replies he is not against them however feels it is not right to celebrate, Karuna says if he does not celebrate with them then she will say he cares for his brother Bhim Rao, Jokhu asks what is right or wrong when he did such a big thing with Jija Bai, Ramji comes to them when Jija Bai says Bala should not be afraid of his father, she also used to harm Bhim from behind the doors but has realized there is no point in hiding it all. Ramji says he was thinking what would be happening here, Jija Bai asks him to go and eat as his son is cooking, Ramji replies he has lost the habit of thinking clearly but reached a solution, Ramji walks to Bala and angrily holds him from the collar, Ramji says if the freedom fighters have been caught then Bala and his Aai have some part in it, he throws Bala on the floor, Bhim comes to Ramji.
