Nandini goes by the well calling to her mother asking if she knows what her daughter has done today by defeating the tradition of dowry which took her and Joyti life, and does her mother why she won, it was because she never accepted defeat and she wishes that her mother should also not have accepted defeat, and today she would have been with them, Nandini hugs Manri, Ishwar and Mitesh.

In the night Hetal comes running asking what has happened, Chanchal says she is standing right in front of her, Hetal replies Chanchal would understand it when she hears her voice along with Nandini in the night, Hetal going to Samta asks how many tola gold did she bring, she then even asks Jalpa and Roupa while saying Chanchal is the one who brought this all to the house, so says they all are doing this all for the sake of one person who is HemRaj Ratansi, He coming from behind asks Hetal to not yell and say it clearly, Hetal shows the phone to him asking who is responsible for it all, she asks if Dhawal can recognize it explaining this body belongs to their daughter Kirti, Hetal mentions Dhawal can only recognize one person who is named HemRaj Ratansi, Hetal asks what happened to him, she says this body belongs to his niece and her daughter, he is the one who told her to not be worried as he will give so much dowry that it will hide her color, Hetal replies that his dowry could not hide her color and after that she starts crying, saying her daughter has been living such a weird life and not told them about her sufferings but kept living like this just for her mother., Jigar tries to help her but Hetal says that the day is not that far away when like the mother of Nandini, she is going to die, Hetal sits on the floor, Chanchal asks her to calm down but Hetal says HemRaj should once again give the dowry to her In laws and let her die, Hetal says that she will take responsibility for her daughter so she has decided to end her suffering, Hetal says that her daughter will come here after two days but she is not going to let her become burden on them and is not going to live in this house, Jigar requests her to calm down. HemRaj leaves when Hetal says he is going away. HemRaj is very worried so sits on his couch, thinking about something.

In the morning Nandini is performing the pooja at the house when she goes out asking everyone what has happened, Manri, Mitesh and Ishwar are worried, she says they should wish her when she is leaving. Ishwar replies Nandini has made the family her enemy so would HemRaj let her come inside, Nandini replies she knows they would be angry with her but her relation is still with them and she won the case against dowry but now it is time for her to return to her family. Manri says Nandini has in reality proved to be her daughter, Nandini replies Manri once again said the wrong thing as it is just the responsibility of boys when Manri says that Nandini tends to correct their mistakes in small things and has changed the point of view of the entire society

Samta brings tea for everyone but they donot drink it, Samta questions why did they asked her to make it when she has been working in the kitchen, Nandini coming to the door seeks permission to enter, Dhawal refuses saying she took back the dowry and there is no need for her in the house, HemRaj stops her asking how can she come here after a lot has happened so demands her to stay there, Dhawal says that HemRaj is going to throw her belongings out of this house and she will not be able to come back again, HemRaj says he is wrong and so walks to Nandini holding the pot file with the liquid to perform the ritual, he says that she came to their house for the first time with dowry but this time is going to arrive after changing the tradition and he is himself going to welcome her. HemRaj goes to stand back with a smile on his face when Nandini once again enters the house, completing the ritual. HemRaj tells Nandini that she has performed the Grehperwash once but now is going to enter the hearts of the Ratansi family so he welcomes her, Naren holding his hand apologizes to him for doing whatever they were forced, HemRaj says there is no need to join the hands explaining how elders have said one should face troubles in their life and he has realized his mistake, the phone rings of all the women and Jalpa is shocked seeing the amount, HemRaj mentions he has returned all of the money he has taken as dowry and tells Hetal that he has even made preparations for Kirti to come back to this house, he further tells Roupa that Raunak has realized his mistakes and is even ready to get treatment for it, but Roupa can stay in this house if she likes it to which Roupa agrees explaining this is her family and she is like their daughter. Chanchal asks if HemRaj is even going to call Nandini inside, Nandini says she has some members of the family inside who want to come so she calls them and goes to stand with HemRaj, the other leader of the group come when Nandini informs he has done justice to all the women of the family and so the other leaders explain they know HemRaj would surely be the leader of their group and it is their humble request that he once again takes the responsible. HemRaj takes the bouquet in his hands explaining he is ready to accept it but has a condition and wants another junior leader who can guide him, and for that he is suggesting the name of Nandini, HemRaj turns to Nandini after which all of the other leader agree mentioning what is wrong with Nandini being a member of their group. Naren asks Nandini to just move ahead while he is always going to support her, Nandini takes the blessing of HemRaj who replies she took it from him but they should see if the one who should give it performs it, Anousya Baa blesses Nandini explaining they should now get her eye treatment, HemRaj starts laughing with the entire family.
