Scene 1
Mangal asks Lipika what she is doing? she says doing the dishes. Lakshmi will go I will have to learn all this. Somiya comes to the haldi. She says hello Aunty you did such great decor. Kusum says Mangal did it. she’s very creative and hardworking. She still looks fresh. Adit says Somiya come sit. Kusum says you can’t sit here. Somiya asks why. She says only married women can sit here. Somiya says I get it. Kusum says to sit with Lipika and Ishana there. Somiya sits with Lipika.

Gayatri starts Karthik’s haldi. Mangal brings Lakshmi. She does his haldi. Gayatri applies haldi on Karthik. Everyone is happy and dancing. Sanjana wonders what is Karthik planning. He says in his heart this wedding won’t happen. Mangal sees Lakshmi’s face and says why is Haldi not removing? Lakshmi starts packing. Mangal says the color isn’t getting off. Kusum says she can take a shower it’d come off. Gayatri must be coming sometime son. Lakshmi goes to shower. She comes out. Mangal picnic. She says the color is still there. Lipika says it’s not going away. I tried everything. Lipika says why do you still have Haldi? Mangal says the color isn’t coming off. Mangal asks who made her haldi. Lipika says she made her hadli. You brought that haldi. Mangal and Lakshmi panic. Mangal tries to take it off. Lakshmi cries. She says Didi it’s not getting off. Mangal says guests are coming. She says let me bring lemon. Lipika says we should end the event. I have an idea.

Scene 2
Gayatri and Kusum do the haldi together. Akshad says to Kusum Mom is calling you. Kusum says to Gayatri Karthik looks very happy. Gayatri says he’d never go against me. Omesh says the decor is great. Mangal brings Lakshmi with ghunghat. Gayatri asks why is she doing ghunghat. Gayatri took off the ghughat. She sees Lakshmi’s face and is shocked. Gayatri asks what is this? Mangal tells her the color isn’t coming off. Karthik says it’s fine, it’d come off in a night. Karthik says in the heart that I will fool you the way you fooled me. You will be alone in the mandap. You will feel trapped like I do.

Gayatri makes Lakshmi wear the bangles. She asks Karthik to make her wear the bangles. Somiya feels upset. she calls Adit. She says you make me wear the bangles too. He says are you crazy? If someone sees there’d be a problem. She says I am serious. She says I want them right now. She says I want it. Mangal says it’s every girl’s dream to wear these green bangles. Karthik makes Lakshmiw wear the bangles. Lakshmi gets happy.

Lakshmi dances happily. She imagines Karthik dancing with her. Karthik makes her wear the bangles, and a bangle breaks. He says sorry. Lakshmi says don’t say sorry. He says in heart she knows how to pretend so well. I will do the same now.
