Raghav is thinking about the recent events. Parvathi apologizes to him for slapping him, but he says he doesn’t mind. She shows him his childhood slate, telling him she kept it safe because it holds his childhood memories. He recalls writing “mom” on it many times. Parvathi falls at his feet, begging him to sacrifice his happiness for her by agreeing to marry Vani. She insists that the family’s happiness depends on this alliance and pleads with him to meet Vani at least once. Meanwhile, Vani sends Raghav a message to meet her the next day.

Raghav tells his father that he understands the situation he is in. Meanwhile, Bela asks Grandma where she is going. Grandma replies that she is going to Mishri’s in-laws’ house. Sakthi wants to stop them, but Bela advises against it, fearing they will become suspicious. Instead, she suggests going to Raghav’s house and shares a plan with Sakthi. Parvathi searches for Raghav and informs Sulekha about it. When Sulekha asks if she has talked to him about the alliance, Parvathi stays silent, leading Sulekha to warn that if Raghav refuses, the family will fall apart.

Raghav brings Vani to his house and suggests they marry in the temple, but she insists on meeting his family first, believing she can impress them. He apologizes, saying he can’t marry her without his family’s permission, and takes her inside. Meanwhile, Mishri and Grandma get lost on their way to Raghav’s house due to their excitement.

Raghav introduces Vani to his family, declaring his love for her and stating that she has all the qualities of a good daughter-in-law. He tells them he cannot marry the girl they chose for him. Just then, Kalpana and her husband arrive. Vani refers to Kalpana as her mom, surprising Raghav.

Kalpana reveals she came to arrange the wedding. Grandma accepts the alliance, and Raghav, excited, confirms that Vani is indeed Kalpana’s daughter. Kalpana says they have chosen Raghav for Vani, and Vani, overjoyed, hugs him. Raghav tells his mom he is ready to marry the girl of her choice.

Mishri and Grandma arrive at the wrong address. Raghav and Vani seek blessings from the elders. Raghav asks Parvathi to hug Kalpana, who secretly vows never to forgive her. Chithra speculates that Vani and Raghav might have eloped, but Sulekha praises Raghav, saying he wouldn’t do such a thing.

Meanwhile, Sakti’s brother tries to hit Grandma with his car to stop her from meeting Raghav. Mishri saves Grandma but gets hurt in the process. Sakti beats his brother and Mishri faints.

Precap: Raghav sees Mishri injured and takes her to the hospital. Grandma sees Mishri being taken in a car and follows it to the hospital. Sakti attacks Raghav in the hospital.
