Taani and Jonaki come into the living room to serve payesh. Neelu tastes Taani’s and enjoys it thoroughly, but stops when she tastes Jonaki’s. However, she covers this up by declaring that both have made very good payesh, and that she has two Annapurnas in the household, and gives them money as shagun.
