Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 3rd September 2014 Written Episode

The Episode starts with Ishita waking up and shouting seeing Raman. He shouts and asks why is she shouting. He says he was sleeping here, and he did not do anything and don’t have such intention in future too. They argue cutely. He asks her not to think she is gorgeous and says about his bad sleep with Appa, when Appa attacked him. She says don’t bring Appa in between. Amma comes and wants to know about the bed and Parmeet. Simmi tells her mum that carpenter did not repair the bed. Amma is shocked and thinks if he did not break their bed, then whose. Raman comes holding his back and Amma gets worried. Raman and Ishita greet her.

Raman asks Ishita to talk to Amma. Ishita takes her to kitchen and asks did you send any carpenter, what was the need for him to come in our room, our bed broke, Raman was hurt, he was shouting, we had to sleep on small mattress on the ground. Amma thinks my attack on Parmeet failed but its good, Raman and Ishita got close and smiles. Amma says take care Raman and leaves being very happy for Ishita. Raman says all of them are mad. Simmi says she has to make parathas for Parmeet. Ishita asks Mrs. Bhalla not to tell anything, he is like virus and he won’t change easily, we have to do something, till then leave it.

Shagun is with her friends. They ask her wedding date. Shagun says soo n, its going to be big fat wedding, so need time for planning. Shagun says his brother is here, very soon I will come to invite personally. Her friend Riya tells her that her parents send her pics of the groom, but she is not ready. Shagun asks her to marry. Riya says I m very happy with my independence, see the pics. Shagun is shocked seeing Ashok’s pic. They say is this Ashok’s plan, what happened Shagun. Shagun says its not possible, it might be confusion. Riya says no its not. Shagun leaves.

Mrs. Bhalla asks Romi whats going on. He says nothing he is going. She asks why are you always on phone. He says he is going office now. He meets Chotu and gets some gift. Mrs. Bhalla sees this. Romi likes the earrings. Chotu asks for whom is this and names many girls. Romi says forget them, its for Sarika. Mrs. Bhalla hears this. Romi leaves with Chotu. Mrs. Bhalla says I will see you son, I think Sarika matter is serious. Suraj sees good proposals for Ashok. Shagun comes home and sees this. She asks him whats going on, its Suraj’s marriage, how can you send Ashok’s marriage, I got insulted.

Ashok is my fiancé. The man asks Suraj why is she scolding me. Suraj says you leave, I will call later. Suraj taunts her and says don’t react as if you don’t know, we are finding girls for Ashok. She is shocked and says coming in my home and igniting fire infront of me. He says your house, it wasn’t yours, you did what you can do for him, you want his money. She says I was not after him, he loved me. He says Ashok loves challenges, it does not mean to get all of them at home. Shagun shouts Suraj……….. He says you lost your husband and now Ashok, your family also abandoned you, you are all alone, no one cares for you, Ashok will marry a rich girl to get some profit. He leaves. Shagun is astounded.

Mrs. Bhalla talks to Ishita about Romi. She says she tried to be her children’s friend and know their hearts, but she can’t bear this to happen, I don’t want Romi to make any mistake, Romi and Sarika are meeting a lot, he said she is his friend, I don’t like Sarika, she was with Parmeet, don’t know what was wrong between them, you know Parmeet is wrong, I don’t like Sarika meeting Romi. Ishita says I don’t think its more than friendship. She says I know my son, he has many girlfriends and now Sarika, I want him to be away from Sarika. Her family is bad and they stay at some bad place. She says you explain Sarika, give some money and make her transfer somewhere.

Ishita says I know you are worried for Romi, it does not mean Sarika is bad, we should not care about her father and home, her character should be good, Parmeet was wrong, not her, Parmeet misbehaved with me too, was I wrong, then how can I blame her. I know Romi and Sarika should maintain distance, as you told about Romi’s confused state about girls, he should think about making any strong relation and then regretting. She asks her not to worry as she will talk to Sarika, and promises her that she will do whats right. Mrs. Bhalla thanks her.

Parmeet hears them and sees Ishita coming. He acts like talking on phone to his girlfriend and fools Ishita. He says we will meet tomorrow in our farmhouse, I booked it, don’t worry. Ishita hears this. He leaves. She thinks whom is he meeting now, is he cheating Simmi, I want all info before I warn Simmi. Parmeet says Ishita ji think now, your mind works fast in these things. He says see now whats the result of playing a game with me.

Ishita serves dosas for Mr and Mrs. Bhalla. Simmi asks Parmeet to drop her and Ananya to playschool. He says come, its my duty. They leave. Raman comes for breakfast. He asks about Romi. Mrs. Bhalla says don’t know what he does, he went early today. Raman says don’t know what he does. Ishita gets a call on landline, a lady asks about Parmeet and says any other number I need to talk urgently. She says the address and says we had to meet today and just to confirm. She tells this and ends the call. Ishita tells everything to them. Raman says about work or….. Ishita says the girl was looking personal type, not formal. She says I heard Parmeet talking on phone and saying he will fool Simmi and come to meet you. Raman gets angry.

She says its good chance for us to expose him, we should go to farmhouse and catch him red handed. Mrs. Bhalla says yes, Simmi can know the truth. They agree. Mr. Bhalla says take Simmi along. Parmeet is with the girl and says she gave good audition. He gives her money and says he will make her life. He says now Ishita will be caught. Bhallas reach the farmhouse. Raman asks the guard who is inside. The guard says booking is on Mrs and Mr Parmeet Khurana. Simmi is shocked. Raman checks the register. Simmi confirms. Raman shows the register to Simmi. She cries.

Precap:
Mrs. Bhalla asks Ishita did she talk to Sarika. Ishita says no, I did not go to clinic, I will talk to her, don’t worry. Mrs. Bhalla says she can be in peace till Sarika goes from Romi’s life. Romi argued with me for first time because of her, I can’t bear this..

Shagun, as usual, was restless thinking what Raman and Ishita are upto? She had not met them in a long time. No parties had happened nor had Raman done anything to contact Ashok or given her a chance to interfere in his life. She had also gone to his office on the pretext of meeting Ashok who had gone there as his business partner only to find out that Raman was in Bombay that day. So basically she had been out of touch and she really needed to know what was happening in Raman and Ishita’s life.
She remembered that Romi had given her the wrong CD the other day and so decided to go to the Bhalla house early morning pretending to return this CD in exchange of the right CD. She reached there around 8 am and saw the door open. She decided not to ring the bell and entered directly. She could hear a lot of noises and no one noticed her immediately.
Then, Toshiji who was doing pranayam in the balcony looked at her and screamed. This drew Ishita’s attention who looked up from the kitchen to see what has happened. Mr. Bhalla, who was inside his room, also came out.
Toshiji,” Fitte muh! Subah subah kyun aa gayee apni manhoos shakal lekar?”
Shagun,”Please tameej se baat kariye. Aur mujhe …”
Toshiji, “Oye, tu mujhe tameej sikhayegi. Ruk main tujhe batati hoon.”
Mr. Bhalla,”Toshiji, jaane do. Subah subah mat mahaoul kharab karo. Shagun, kya kaam hai?”
Shagun, “Romi ne mujhe galat CD de di thi. Yeh Raman ki dusri shaadi ka video hai. Mujhe Adi ke school ki CD chahiye.”
Toshiji,”Yeh Romi bhi na ek number ka benakoof hai. Nalaya kahin ka. Ruk main sahi waali CD mangwa deti hoon.”
Toshiji, “Romi, Romi”
Romi, “Arey kya hai mummyji, subah subah kyun chilla rahi ho. Main bathroom main naha raha hun.”
Toshiji,”Shagun tu kone main baith ja chup chap. Romi aayega toh CD dega.”
All this while Ishita is working in the kitchen at full speed. Mornings are a busy time for Ishita as she has to prepare breakfast for everyone, dress Ruhi up and listen to Raman scream her name 50 times. She could hardly be bothered about Shagun’s presence.
Ishita, “Mummyji, Papaji aap dining table per aa jayiye. Main nashta laga deti hun. Ready hai.”
Toshiji and Bhallaji sit on the table.
Ishita, “Papaji, aapke liye maine aloo ke parathe banaye hai. Mummyji, yeh lijiye aapka lauki ka juice.”
Toshiji, “Chee Ishita, subah subah mood kharab mat kar.”
Just then Rinki comes running out and screams, “Bye Mummji and Papaji, main bahut late ho rahi hun. Main jaa rahi hun.” And then she turns to Ishita.
Toshiji, “Arey puttar nashta toh karke jaa.”
Rinki, “Maa aaj meri extra class hai. Main bahut late ho gayee hoon already. Maine bhabhi ko raat main hi bata diya tha. She has made both lunch and breakfast for me and packed it.”
She hugged Ishita who gave her both the boxes and smiled at her. Toshiji beamed at her daughter and daughter-in-law. Rinki then ran out of the house.
Just then Ruhi came running out of the room and screamed, “Ishimaa, main ready hoon.” Ruhi then noticed Shagun and got scared. She hugged Ishita tightly. Ishita smiled cheerfully at her and said, “Ru baby, Shagun mumma ko Good Morning bolo.” Ruhi mumbled a soft good morning to Shagun and continued to hold Ishita tightly. Shagun just smiled at Ruhi and did not say anything. Ishita picked Ruhi up in her arms lovingly and made her sit on the breakfast table. She gave her a glass of milk and asked her to finish it.
Shagun also gave a sarcastic smile. She thought in her head “Chalo accha hai, main bach gayee. Bhalla pariwaar ne toh Ishita ko servant banake rakha hai. Yeh toh Ruhi ki hi nahi poore ghar ki glorified aaya hai. Aur Raman ko toh Ishita se koi matlab hi nahi hai. Woh toh sirf mujhse pyaar karta hai. Dekho na kahin dikhayee hi nahi de raha. Mujhe chalna chahiye. Jo dekhna tha woh dikh gaya.”
Just then Raman walks in the drawing room with a towel around his waist. He looks at Ishita and says in his usual Raavan kumar manner, “O hello madrasan, tumhe sunaai nahi diya kya ki main bathroom se nahake bahar aa chuka hun. Ab kya bedroom main aane ke liye special invitation bhejna padega.”
Shagun is shocked to see Raman invite Ishita inside the bedroom. She decides to stay on and see what goes on. Just then he notices Shagun and scowls and says, “Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?”
Toshiji, “Raman tu uski tension na le. Tu chetti jaake taiyaar ho ja nahi toh office ke liye late ho jayega.”
Raman had settled into a beautiful life with his daughter and his loving wife Ishita. He no longer cared or even thought about Shagun for a minute. It was the reason he had ensured that their paths don’t cross because he did not want his perfect life to be meddled with. He had moved from love to hatred to indifference for Shagun. He just didn’t care anymore and that was all there to it. And all this had happened because of Ishita who he madly loved but never admitted it to her. He was unsure of her reaction but knew they were connected and that she felt the same. Hence, when Toshiji told him not to bother, it was not difficult for him and he just looked at Ishita again.
Ishita who was doing something in the kitchen said, “Suna maine baba! Aa rahi hun. Maine aapke clothes already bed per nikalke rakhe hai. Aap andar jayiye main 2 minutes main aayee.”
Raman goes inside the room without even looking at Shagun.
Ishita, “Mummyji, maine aapke breakfast ke liye fruits cut karke is daabe main rakh diye hai. Main thodi der isse fridge main rakh rahi hun taaki woh acche lagein khane main. Aap juice ke thodi der baad kha lijiyega.”
Just then Raman screams from inside the room, “Ishita, jaldi aao yaar!”
Toshiji, “Ishita puttar, tu fikar mat kar. Main kha lungi. Tu Raman ke pass jaldi jaa nahi toh Ishita Ishita chillake poora ghar sir pe utha lega.”
Ishita then comes to Ruhi who had still not finished her milk and says,” Ru baby, school ke liye late ho jayega. Jaldi milk peeyo. Ek kaam karo Daadi aur aap race lagayo. Dadi apna juice phele finish karegi ya Ruhi apna milk.”
Ruhi, “Main race karungi phele aap mujhe ek kissy do.”
Ishita kisses her on the cheek and says, “Mera naughty baccha.” Then she tells Toshiji, “Mummyji, aap dekh lijiyega, main Raman ko dekh kar aati hun.” Toshiji smiles and nods in agreement and both Ruhi and she start their race.
Ishita quickly goes to Raman and her bedroom and everyone hears the door click shut. Shagun is seething with anger seeing this. In the meanwhile, Toshiji calls Romi again who usually takes long in the bathroom every morning. He says he would take some more time as he is shaving and would then bathe. Toshiji just makes a face but knows she can’t do anything about it.
Raman and Ishita come out after 20 minutes. Raman has his phone in his hand and is reading something. Ishita is holding multiple things in her hand. She keeps Raman’s bag on the smaller sofa.
Ishita, ” Raman, maine aapke bag main sab kuch daal diya hai. Aap check kar lijiye. Aur yeh lijiye aapka Rumaal.”
Raman takes it and keeps it in his pocket.
Ishita, “Aapki watch”
Raman just extends his left hand towards Ishita still engrossed in his phone.
Ishita just smiles and says, “Aapka office toh uthte ke saath hi shuru ho jaata hai. Kabhi kabhi toh lagta hai aap Ruhi se chote hai.” And she makes him wear the watch,
Raman smiles at her and says lovingly, “Main hun nahi, tumne bana rakha hai.”
Ishita, “yeh lijiye wallet”
Raman takes the wallet and keeps it in his pocket.
Ishita, “Please bag check karlijiye nahi toh office se phone karenge aap. Aur phir jaldi nashta karne aayiye.”
Raman sits down on the sofa and starts rummaging through his bag to check the contents. Ishita goes to the kitchen and pours herself coffee in a mug. She takes a sip when Raman starts shouting at the top of his voice, “Ishita, Ishita”
Ishita keeps her coffee mug down and goes and stands beside him but he continues to shout, “Ishita, suno!”
Ishita then put her hand on his shoulder and says, “Yahin toh hoon, kyun chilla rahe ho?”
Raman, “Meri file nahi mil rahi.”
Ishita, “Kaunsi file?”
Raman, “Woh red waali jo main kal raat main padh raha tha. Jis main Mr. Mehta ke deals ke papers hai.”
Ishita, “Accha woh. Raman kal raat apne hi toh bed ke side drawer main rakhi thi aur aap hi bhul gaye. Chaliye aap nashta kariye main file leke aati hun.”
Shagun is pissed and is fuming with anger seeing the camaraderie between Raman and Ishita. She can’t believe that Ishita also knows the contents of Raman’s office files. Ishita goes inside the room while Raman walks to the kitchen.
Raman, “Neelu, meri chai kahan hai?”
Neelu, “Bhaiya, chai abhi ready nahi hai.”
Raman, “Yeh Ishita ki coffee hai na.” Neelu nods in agreement and Raman takes it and starts drinking it.
Raman then sits down to have breakfast and asks Neelu what Ishita has made for herself. Raman had started liking south Indian breakfast and use to eat it on some mornings. Neelu informed him that Ishita was getting late so she did not make breakfast for herself today. Raman then got up in the middle of his breakfast and walked out of the house saying that he will be back in a bit. He came back 2 minutes later with a plate in his hand which had Idli and Sambhar on it. He kept it on the table and resumed his breakfast. Shagun is shocked to see Raman care so much for Ishita. Till now she has been sitting quietly and everyone is also ignoring her waiting for Romi to come out.
Shagun,” Badi chinta hai tumhe apni behenji biwi ki.”
Raman is disinterested in responding to Shagun and everyone ignores her as if she does not exist. This infuriates her even more.
Ishita then comes out with her own bag, Ruhi’s school bag and Raman’s file in her hand. She first goes and puts Raman file in his bag while informing him about the same and he smiles at her. She then comes to Ruhi and makes her wear her school bag on her shoulders and says, “Good girl, aapne poora milk finish kiya. Accha aaj maine aapke tiffin main aapke favorite french fries or burger rakhein hai. Aap poora tiffin finish karna nahi toh Ishima gussa ho jayegi.”
Raman is now standing near the table observing this exchange and also typing on his phone. He has finished his breakfast. Ishita searches for her coffee mug and sees it lying on the table. It is empty. Ishita, “Raman, aapne phir meri coffee peeli. Neelu se bolkar chai banwalete na.”
Ruhi giggles and says, “Ishima, aap roz papa ko scold karte ho coffee peene ke liye but aap ne kaha tha na sharing is caring.”
Ishita smiles at Ruhi while Raman says with a mischievous smile, “Haan dekhona Ruhi, Ishima toh apni baat hi follow nahi karti”. They all laugh. Raman had started liking coffee more than tea and used to drink Ishita’s coffee every day. Moreover, he liked to drink Ishita’s half-drunk coffee as it gave him a sense of belonging. He would never admit this to her and even she knew it.
Then Ishita turns to Neelu and says, “Neelu, mummyji ke fruits jo maine fridge main rakhein hain unhe yaad se khila dena and papaji ko ek aur paratha laake de.”
Toshiji, “Oye puttar, tu tension mat le. Hum sab manage kar lenge.”
Just then Romi comes out all dressed and say paripauna toh Bhallaji and Toshiji. Then he says in a really cheerful tone to Ishita, “Good Morning Bhabhi.”
Raman, “Bhabhi ke chamche.”
Romi just smiles and says, “Aapko bhi good morning Bhai.”
Toshiji,”Oye khottey de puttar. Tera dimaag kharab hai kya. Tune us din Shagun ko wrong CD de di. Dekh ab yeh abshagun yahan phir mooh uthake chali aayee hai. Jaake usse right CD laake de jaldi. Fitte muh.”
Ishita, “Ruko Romi. Yeh lo tumhare paise us watch ke liye jo tumhe pasand aayee thi.”
Raman, “Ishita tumne phir Romi ko paise diye.”
Ishita, “Raman aap devar-bhabhi ke beech kuch mat boliye. Waise bhi kabhi kabhi toh woh mujhse gifts mangata hai.”
Raman while looking at Romi angrily, “Tujhe toh shaam ko aake dekhta hun. Ab jaa jaldi CD laa.” Romi goes inside the room to search for the CD.
Ishita, “chaliye Raman, aapko late ho raha hai. Aaj aapko mujhe bhi clinic chodhna hai.”
Bhallaji,” Ishita puttar nashta toh karle.”
Ishita, “Papaji, main clinic main kha loongi. Raman ko late ho raha hai.”
Just then Raman holds her hands and forcibly seats her down on the dining table. Ishita opens her mouth to ask what he is doing but her mouth is shut by Raman inserting a piece of Idli in her mouth.
She is surprised to see the Idli plate there and starts chewing quietly as she knows there is never any point in arguing with Raman. He is standing there with another spoon of Idli to feed her when she stops chewing and says, “tum madrassiyon ko bina jabardasti ke kuch samajh nahi aata kya?”. Ishita just gives him a fake angry look.
Shagun is angry for real seeing Raman feed Ishita. Just then Raman’s phone rings and he starts talking on the phone. Ishita takes the spoon and starts eating her breakfast quickly so that Raman does not get late. Raman absentmindedly keeps his hand on Ishita, which is free now since Ishita took the spoon. He continues to talk on the phone holding it with his other hand. Ishita and Raman are now very comfortable with being touchy feely and Ishita does not really notice Raman standing with her support but this makes Shagun want to slap Ishita.
Raman finishes the call and Ishita her breakfast. And they all decide to leave quickly. Raman holds Ruhi’s hand and moves out of the door.
Ishita while leaving says to Toshiji, “Mummyji aap Romi ko yaad dila dijiyega ki usse meri car servicing se pick up karni hai. Usse boliyega car directly clinic le aaye nahi toh Raman ko shaam ko mujhe lene aana padega and woh bahut busy hai aaj.”
Toshiji, “Haan keh dungi. Ab tu ja jaldi nahi toh late ho jayega.”
Just then Raman walks in again with Ruhi and says, “Madam, aapka bhi haath pakad ke le jaana padega kya?” He then holds Ishita’s hands and takes her with him. Toshiji and Bhallji admire them going out with Raman holding Ruhi with one hand and Ishita with the other hand.
Shagun is furious and she is unable to fathom what is happening. She decides to follow them quietly to see if Raman was acting out all this or is he really this close to Ishita. She moves out and follows them quietly. The scene before her stuns her.
She sees Ishita putting Ruhi safely in the back seat of the car and fastening the seat belt for Ruhi. Raman is standing behind her holding Ishita’s purse and has a content smile on his face. He loves his morning schedule with his wife and daughter. He then waits for Ishita to climb into the passenger seat and closes her door. He comes and sits on the driver’s seat and then gives Ishita her purse. They all fasten their seat belt. And Raman drives away.
Anyone looking at them can tell that they are a perfect family who is happy and content in their own little world. She could see Ishita and Ruhi laughing about something when Raman drove away.
Shagun does not know whether to feel angry or feel sad that she lost out on what could have been hers! She has tears of anger and regret in her eyes.

  Toshiji,”Shagun tu kone main baith ja chup chap. Romi aayega toh CD dega.”
  All this while Ishita is working in the kitchen at full speed. Mornings are a busy time for Ishita as she has to prepare breakfast for everyone, dress Ruhi up and listen to Raman scream her name 50 times. She could hardly be bothered about Shagun’s presence.
  Ishita, “Mummyji, Papaji aap dining table per aa jayiye. Main nashta laga deti hun. Ready hai.”
  Toshiji and Bhallaji sit on the table.
  Ishita, “Papaji, aapke liye maine aloo ke parathe banaye hai. Mummyji, yeh lijiye aapka lauki ka juice.”
  Toshiji, “Chee Ishita, subah subah mood kharab mat kar.”
  Just then Rinki comes running out and screams, “Bye Mummji and Papaji, main bahut late ho rahi hun. Main jaa rahi hun.” And then she turns to Ishita.
  Toshiji, “Arey puttar nashta toh karke jaa.”
  Rinki, “Maa aaj meri extra class hai. Main bahut late ho gayee hoon already. Maine bhabhi ko raat main hi bata diya tha. She has made both lunch and breakfast for me and packed it.”
  She hugged Ishita who gave her both the boxes and smiled at her. Toshiji beamed at her daughter and daughter-in-law. Rinki then ran out of the house.
  Just then Ruhi came running out of the room and screamed, “Ishimaa, main ready hoon.” Ruhi then noticed Shagun and got scared. She hugged Ishita tightly. Ishita smiled cheerfully at her and said, “Ru baby, Shagun mumma ko Good Morning bolo.” Ruhi mumbled a soft good morning to Shagun and continued to hold Ishita tightly. Shagun just smiled at Ruhi and did not say anything. Ishita picked Ruhi up in her arms lovingly and made her sit on the breakfast table. She gave her a glass of milk and asked her to finish it.
  Shagun also gave a sarcastic smile. She thought in her head “Chalo accha hai, main bach gayee. Bhalla pariwaar ne toh Ishita ko servant banake rakha hai. Yeh toh Ruhi ki hi nahi poore ghar ki glorified aaya hai. Aur Raman ko toh Ishita se koi matlab hi nahi hai. Woh toh sirf mujhse pyaar karta hai. Dekho na kahin dikhayee hi nahi de raha. Mujhe chalna chahiye. Jo dekhna tha woh dikh gaya.”
  Just then Raman walks in the drawing room with a towel around his waist. He looks at Ishita and says in his usual Raavan kumar manner, “O hello madrasan, tumhe sunaai nahi diya kya ki main bathroom se nahake bahar aa chuka hun. Ab kya bedroom main aane ke liye special invitation bhejna padega.”
  Shagun is shocked to see Raman invite Ishita inside the bedroom. She decides to stay on and see what goes on. Just then he notices Shagun and scowls and says, “Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?”
  Toshiji, “Raman tu uski tension na le. Tu chetti jaake taiyaar ho ja nahi toh office ke liye late ho jayega.”
  Raman had settled into a beautiful life with his daughter and his loving wife Ishita. He no longer cared or even thought about Shagun for a minute. It was the reason he had ensured that their paths don’t cross because he did not want his perfect life to be meddled with. He had moved from love to hatred to indifference for Shagun. He just didn’t care anymore and that was all there to it. And all this had happened because of Ishita who he madly loved but never admitted it to her. He was unsure of her reaction but knew they were connected and that she felt the same. Hence, when Toshiji told him not to bother, it was not difficult for him and he just looked at Ishita again.
  Ishita who was doing something in the kitchen said, “Suna maine baba! Aa rahi hun. Maine aapke clothes already bed per nikalke rakhe hai. Aap andar jayiye main 2 minutes main aayee.”
  Raman goes inside the room without even looking at Shagun.
  Ishita, “Mummyji, maine aapke breakfast ke liye fruits cut karke is daabe main rakh diye hai. Main thodi der isse fridge main rakh rahi hun taaki woh acche lagein khane main. Aap juice ke thodi der baad kha lijiyega.”
  Just then Raman screams from inside the room, “Ishita, jaldi aao yaar!”
  Toshiji, “Ishita puttar, tu fikar mat kar. Main kha lungi. Tu Raman ke pass jaldi jaa nahi toh Ishita Ishita chillake poora ghar sir pe utha lega.”
  Ishita then comes to Ruhi who had still not finished her milk and says,” Ru baby, school ke liye late ho jayega. Jaldi milk peeyo. Ek kaam karo Daadi aur aap race lagayo. Dadi apna juice phele finish karegi ya Ruhi apna milk.”
  Ruhi, “Main race karungi phele aap mujhe ek kissy do.”
  Ishita kisses her on the cheek and says, “Mera naughty baccha.” Then she tells Toshiji, “Mummyji, aap dekh lijiyega, main Raman ko dekh kar aati hun.” Toshiji smiles and nods in agreement and both Ruhi and she start their race.
  Ishita quickly goes to Raman and her bedroom and everyone hears the door click shut. Shagun is seething with anger seeing this. In the meanwhile, Toshiji calls Romi again who usually takes long in the bathroom every morning. He says he would take some more time as he is shaving and would then bathe. Toshiji just makes a face but knows she can’t do anything about it.
  Raman and Ishita come out after 20 minutes. Raman has his phone in his hand and is reading something. Ishita is holding multiple things in her hand. She keeps Raman’s bag on the smaller sofa.
  Ishita, ” Raman, maine aapke bag main sab kuch daal diya hai. Aap check kar lijiye. Aur yeh lijiye aapka Rumaal.”
  Raman takes it and keeps it in his pocket.
  Ishita, “Aapki watch”
  Raman just extends his left hand towards Ishita still engrossed in his phone.
  Ishita just smiles and says, “Aapka office toh uthte ke saath hi shuru ho jaata hai. Kabhi kabhi toh lagta hai aap Ruhi se chote hai.” And she makes him wear the watch,
  Raman smiles at her and says lovingly, “Main hun nahi, tumne bana rakha hai.”
  Ishita, “yeh lijiye wallet”
  Raman takes the wallet and keeps it in his pocket.
  Ishita, “Please bag check karlijiye nahi toh office se phone karenge aap. Aur phir jaldi nashta karne aayiye.”
  Raman sits down on the sofa and starts rummaging through his bag to check the contents. Ishita goes to the kitchen and pours herself coffee in a mug. She takes a sip when Raman starts shouting at the top of his voice, “Ishita, Ishita”
  Ishita keeps her coffee mug down and goes and stands beside him but he continues to shout, “Ishita, suno!”
  Ishita then put her hand on his shoulder and says, “Yahin toh hoon, kyun chilla rahe ho?”
  Raman, “Meri file nahi mil rahi.”
  Ishita, “Kaunsi file?”
  Raman, “Woh red waali jo main kal raat main padh raha tha. Jis main Mr. Mehta ke deals ke papers hai.”
  Ishita, “Accha woh. Raman kal raat apne hi toh bed ke side drawer main rakhi thi aur aap hi bhul gaye. Chaliye aap nashta kariye main file leke aati hun.”
  Shagun is pissed and is fuming with anger seeing the camaraderie between Raman and Ishita. She can’t believe that Ishita also knows the contents of Raman’s office files. Ishita goes inside the room while Raman walks to the kitchen.
  Raman, “Neelu, meri chai kahan hai?”
  Neelu, “Bhaiya, chai abhi ready nahi hai.”
  Raman, “Yeh Ishita ki coffee hai na.” Neelu nods in agreement and Raman takes it and starts drinking it.
  Raman then sits down to have breakfast and asks Neelu what Ishita has made for herself. Raman had started liking south Indian breakfast and use to eat it on some mornings. Neelu informed him that Ishita was getting late so she did not make breakfast for herself today. Raman then got up in the middle of his breakfast and walked out of the house saying that he will be back in a bit. He came back 2 minutes later with a plate in his hand which had Idli and Sambhar on it. He kept it on the table and resumed his breakfast. Shagun is shocked to see Raman care so much for Ishita. Till now she has been sitting quietly and everyone is also ignoring her waiting for Romi to come out.
  Shagun,” Badi chinta hai tumhe apni behenji biwi ki.”
  Raman is disinterested in responding to Shagun and everyone ignores her as if she does not exist. This infuriates her even more.
  Ishita then comes out with her own bag, Ruhi’s school bag and Raman’s file in her hand. She first goes and puts Raman file in his bag while informing him about the same and he smiles at her. She then comes to Ruhi and makes her wear her school bag on her shoulders and says, “Good girl, aapne poora milk finish kiya. Accha aaj maine aapke tiffin main aapke favorite french fries or burger rakhein hai. Aap poora tiffin finish karna nahi toh Ishima gussa ho jayegi.”
  Raman is now standing near the table observing this exchange and also typing on his phone. He has finished his breakfast. Ishita searches for her coffee mug and sees it lying on the table. It is empty. Ishita, “Raman, aapne phir meri coffee peeli. Neelu se bolkar chai banwalete na.”
  Ruhi giggles and says, “Ishima, aap roz papa ko scold karte ho coffee peene ke liye but aap ne kaha tha na sharing is caring.”
  Ishita smiles at Ruhi while Raman says with a mischievous smile, “Haan dekhona Ruhi, Ishima toh apni baat hi follow nahi karti”. They all laugh. Raman had started liking coffee more than tea and used to drink Ishita’s coffee every day. Moreover, he liked to drink Ishita’s half-drunk coffee as it gave him a sense of belonging. He would never admit this to her and even she knew it.
  Then Ishita turns to Neelu and says, “Neelu, mummyji ke fruits jo maine fridge main rakhein hain unhe yaad se khila dena and papaji ko ek aur paratha laake de.”
  Toshiji, “Oye puttar, tu tension mat le. Hum sab manage kar lenge.”
  Just then Romi comes out all dressed and say paripauna toh Bhallaji and Toshiji. Then he says in a really cheerful tone to Ishita, “Good Morning Bhabhi.”
  Raman, “Bhabhi ke chamche.”
  Romi just smiles and says, “Aapko bhi good morning Bhai.”
  Toshiji,”Oye khottey de puttar. Tera dimaag kharab hai kya. Tune us din Shagun ko wrong CD de di. Dekh ab yeh abshagun yahan phir mooh uthake chali aayee hai. Jaake usse right CD laake de jaldi. Fitte muh.”
  Ishita, “Ruko Romi. Yeh lo tumhare paise us watch ke liye jo tumhe pasand aayee thi.”
  Raman, “Ishita tumne phir Romi ko paise diye.”
  Ishita, “Raman aap devar-bhabhi ke beech kuch mat boliye. Waise bhi kabhi kabhi toh woh mujhse gifts mangata hai.”
  Raman while looking at Romi angrily, “Tujhe toh shaam ko aake dekhta hun. Ab jaa jaldi CD laa.” Romi goes inside the room to search for the CD.
  Ishita, “chaliye Raman, aapko late ho raha hai. Aaj aapko mujhe bhi clinic chodhna hai.”
  Bhallaji,” Ishita puttar nashta toh karle.”
  Ishita, “Papaji, main clinic main kha loongi. Raman ko late ho raha hai.”
  Just then Raman holds her hands and forcibly seats her down on the dining table. Ishita opens her mouth to ask what he is doing but her mouth is shut by Raman inserting a piece of Idli in her mouth.
  She is surprised to see the Idli plate there and starts chewing quietly as she knows there is never any point in arguing with Raman. He is standing there with another spoon of Idli to feed her when she stops chewing and says, “tum madrassiyon ko bina jabardasti ke kuch samajh nahi aata kya?”. Ishita just gives him a fake angry look.
  Shagun is angry for real seeing Raman feed Ishita. Just then Raman’s phone rings and he starts talking on the phone. Ishita takes the spoon and starts eating her breakfast quickly so that Raman does not get late. Raman absentmindedly keeps his hand on Ishita, which is free now since Ishita took the spoon. He continues to talk on the phone holding it with his other hand. Ishita and Raman are now very comfortable with being touchy feely and Ishita does not really notice Raman standing with her support but this makes Shagun want to slap Ishita.
  Raman finishes the call and Ishita her breakfast. And they all decide to leave quickly. Raman holds Ruhi’s hand and moves out of the door.
  Ishita while leaving says to Toshiji, “Mummyji aap Romi ko yaad dila dijiyega ki usse meri car servicing se pick up karni hai. Usse boliyega car directly clinic le aaye nahi toh Raman ko shaam ko mujhe lene aana padega and woh bahut busy hai aaj.”
  Toshiji, “Haan keh dungi. Ab tu ja jaldi nahi toh late ho jayega.”
  Just then Raman walks in again with Ruhi and says, “Madam, aapka bhi haath pakad ke le jaana padega kya?” He then holds Ishita’s hands and takes her with him. Toshiji and Bhallji admire them going out with Raman holding Ruhi with one hand and Ishita with the other hand.
  Shagun is furious and she is unable to fathom what is happening. She decides to follow them quietly to see if Raman was acting out all this or is he really this close to Ishita. She moves out and follows them quietly. The scene before her stuns her.
  She sees Ishita putting Ruhi safely in the back seat of the car and fastening the seat belt for Ruhi. Raman is standing behind her holding Ishita’s purse and has a content smile on his face. He loves his morning schedule with his wife and daughter. He then waits for Ishita to climb into the passenger seat and closes her door. He comes and sits on the driver’s seat and then gives Ishita her purse. They all fasten their seat belt. And Raman drives away.
  Anyone looking at them can tell that they are a perfect family who is happy and content in their own little world. She could see Ishita and Ruhi laughing about something when Raman drove away.
  Shagun does not know whether to feel angry or feel sad that she lost out on what could have been hers! She has tears of anger and regret in her eyes.
